Bear Grass Records recording artist Deidre Heaton's original writing is acoustic driven music
crossing over between the genres of Acoustic Americana, Folk, and Blues as well as some
traditional favorites.

Deidre is currently performing in the Flathead Valley and surrounding areas promoting her soon to
be released CD “Lost Prairie” on Bear Grass Records.  “Deidre’s songs will take you on road trips
through the long dusty roads of Texas, the whiskey drinking taverns of Montana and to a quite
country church on a Sunday morning.”

Deidre was born in Boston, 1975 and was raised a farm girl in the hub of Maine.  Music was
always a part of her life; going to Bluegrass Festivals as a young girl and singing in choirs.  As
soon as she picked up the guitar in college she was writing songs and performing at college
clubs.  Her first large performance was at the University of Maine’s Bumstock Festival where at 19
she played in front of a crowd of 1200.

In 1995, Deidre moved to where she still resides in the mountains of Montana. She gradated from
the University of Montana in Missoula with a degree in Music Education. Currently, Deidre is
building a music program in Marion, at Montana Academy and is enjoying bringing music to the
lives of adolescents.  She plans to further her studies in Music Therapy and to also teach abroad
