Bear Grass Records recording artist John Patrick Williams songs are what music
should be…they are honest and from the heart. “His writing style is such that he
pulls you into his soul and lets you have a look around.” Refusing to be
categorized into a specific genre John’s writing crosses between blues, country,
Americana and folk. Drawing inspiration from artists such as; John Prine, David
Bromberg, CSN&Y, Charlie Romans, Honey Boy Williams and YES, as well as
any other musician who performed their work with honesty and enjoyment.
"I love playing and singing the blues and my original pieces that are an eclectic
collection of rock, blues, folk and country."
John is currently in the studio putting the final tracks down on his first CD project
with Bear Grass Records, available in winter of 2007, and playing live shows in
the North West promoting its release and building a considerable fan base.
